Michael Buble is now four for four.
The crooner’s latest album, To Be Loved, hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, selling 195,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It’s Buble’s fourth No. 1 album in a row, following 2011′s Christmas, 2009′s Crazy Love and 2007′s Call Me Irresponsible.
To Be Loved is also the Canadian’s second No. 1 debut, after Crazy Love, which also notched the top spot in its first week with 132,000 sold, according to Billboard.
The success of To Be Loved, Buble’s sixth full-length effort, hinges partially on the success of “It’s a Beautiful Day,” the album’s lead single, which has enjoyed international radio play despite peaking at only No. 94 on the Hot 100 chart. The song also currently sits at No. 12 on Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary Songs chart.
